Putin: Russia, UAE continue coordinating energy policies

ABU DHABI, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Russia and the UAE continue to coordinate their efforts and policies on the global energy market, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.

“We continue to coordinate our efforts and our policies on the global energy market, among other things, thanks to the OPEC+ (oil output cut agreement),” he said.

In November 2016, OPEC and non-OPEC states including Russia first decided to reduce their oil output to rebalance the market, and agreed on additional reduction in December 2018. In July, they prolonged the deal until April 2020.
